Ada Zanditon's work is always very geometric and structured. I remember seeing some of her lookbook images last year and I was intrigued, so when I managed to get an invitation to her presentation for SS 2011 I thought I'd go along to see what she'd come up with. I must admit I'm not as in love with it as her previous collection (below), but Zanditon comes up with some new techniques playing on the idea of marrying sustainability and fashion.

Everyone of us at the presentation loved this mac made from reclaimed British traditional mac fabrics. I think Zanditon's collection would have been a lot stronger with more pieces like this. The layering for beautifully engineered and it's a clever twist on a classic.
I especially liked the pieces that were more subtle- kept to a block colour or tonal shades so that the 3D textiles were the main focus.
