The collection from BCBG Max Azria was pure
and simple, even though some were saying that the silhouettes
and use of silk chiffon were far too much of the same. However
their use of colour was something which caught my eye.
I watched the show on live stream on BCBG's website
(technology strikes again!) and as all the models came out the
tonal changes between each look was subtly engineered.
2 of my favorite looks were the slightly masculine dropped shoulder
sweater made from silk in neutral tones and the slightly more
innovative paneled shift dress.(aka The first 2 looks above).
The start of the collection was dominated by white, an obvious
trend for SS11, but the fashion rebel in me can't help but focus
on something a little bit different!
