Cushnie et Ochs
Femininity with a harder edge- but it is all too Celine-like? The unchallenged success of Celine's AW10 collection has meant that designers want to follow its success, but have we had enough?
Mandy Coon
I love to hear that designers like to use eccentric inspiration (in this case 'jellyfish') and still manage to create something that is beautifully wearable. Choosing such a subject for some designers could spell disaster but Coon isn't too literal in her interpretation and created beautifully layered pieces in different weight fabrics, with twists and uneven hems.
Originality of design is so important in an industry with every new designer clamoring for a place to show at NYFW. The Fashion Whisper?A great success.
