I attended a few fashion shows today and I have seen some very "fashionable" young ladies. But, they always come up short when compared to the young ladies doing their own thing.

An interesting point brought up by the Satorialist at the start of NYFW.
Who stands out in fashion?? Whilst all nearly all fashion bloggers are striving to attend every show at fashion week and reporting all the details, is it the trends that people really notice? As designers are choosing people like 'The Satorialist' to influence their work- a man who makes it his business to pick out 'true style' and not necessarily the trends we are currently seeing being reported this week- how important will fashion week trends become in say the next 10 years?
Whilst I'm sure catwalk shows will continue for many years to come you have to wonder whether times are changing......
